AiR CiTY CHiX' PRE-TRYOUT OPEN GYM INFO
AiR CiTY CHiX will be offering a number of OPEN GYM sessions prior to our 2024-25 CLUB FALL TRYOUT DATES. These OPEN GYMS will be under the direction of AiR CiTY CHiX coaches and will feature structured drills and limited instruction! Depending on the number of players in attendance, players will be grouped onto courts by grade/age group; there will be NO SKILL ASSESSMENT to determine court assignments during open gyms. These open gyms are designed for players who are wanting to try out for our 11's, 12's and 13's teams at FALL TRYOUTS which will be held in October!

COST
$10 per player, per date

If you register for multiple dates, we are requiring you to PAY FOR EACH NIGHT, SEPARATELY WHEN YOU ARRIVE & CHECK-IN WITH A COACH IN THE GYM. We will be accepting CASH PAYMENT ONLY for these open gym sessions (NO COINS PLEASE). Please bring EXACT CHANGE; we will not have change available.

NOTE: our open gyms THIS FALL are ONLY for players who are in grades 4 through 7 THIS FALL (and for any current 8th graders whose birthday is AFTER JULY 1, 2011 and who wish to try out for one of our 13's teams)

ALL players MUST also have a CHiX WAiVER & RELEASE FORM, completed by a parent/guardian, on file with us in order to attend these OPEN GYMS. If you played on a 2023-24 CHiX club team or if you have attended any of our 2024 spring, summer or fall programs, we already have this on file, you do not need to resubmit. This WAiVER/RELEASE FORM is the SAME form that is required for our tryouts - if we already have it on file, you do not need to resubmit!

OPEN GYM CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS

1. players will CHECK-IN & PAY EACH NIGHT with the COACH on their assigned courts (you will receive an email with check-in court assignment the week prior to the session dates)
2. PLAYERS SHOULD BRING: a FILLED water bottle that has a lid on it. Please DO NOT bring a volleyball or any other unnecessary items with you into the gym!
3. parents are not permitted in the gym area - you can hang out in the hallway, in the parking lot, or there is a walking/biking path behind bales arena that you can use while your daughter is in the gym!
4. ONLINE REGISTRATION for our open gyms IS REQUIRED! once you register online, you are obligated to attend the sessions you signed up for unless you notify us at least 24 hours before a scheduled session - failure to notify us that you can't make a session you signed up for will result in you being withdrawn from any future open gym dates as well
5. PAYMENT for each, single open gym date will be made AT CHECK-IN each night; we ask that you pay ONLY for one night at a time (CASH PAYMENT only, no coins)
